Aside being a Division Head, had the capacity of doing multi-tasking jobs such as, but not limited to civil registration of birth, marriage, death/fetal death, and marriage license application. It also includes the transmission of Civil Registration Documents (CRDs), processing of Legitimation, Acknowledgment, Affidavit to Use the Surname of the Father (AUSF), and Supplemental reports. As well as signing printed output copies of various electronic registry books, and certifications of CRDs. Carry out orders/instructions from the Acting City Civil Registrar. Signs payrolls, payment vouchers, and other pertinent documents on behalf of the Acting City Civil Registrar. Directly supervises Division Heads & their respective personnel, and acts on behalf of the Division Head during their absence. Provides the immediate needs of the office as warranted during budget constraints, and for the interest of time. Then finally performs other tasks as directed by the Acting City Civil Registrar.

1. PROGRAM AND SERVICE DELIVERY
a. Provides technical inputs to the development and implementation of a Management Framework and Plan for the operation of city government-wide system and network security, the City Civil Registry Information System (CCRIS) to support CCRO’s short – and long-term plans.
b. Provides technical and administrative support to the CCRIS.
c. Designs and implements research studies on frameworks and operational plan trends for implementation of city government-wide system and network security, the CCRIS.
d. Prepares periodic reports on analysis of efficiency and performance of systems and networks for the information of the CCRO management.
e. Leads the maintenance and updating of the modules on operations of the city government-wide system and network security, the CCRIS.
f. Upon the request of barangay local government units, conducts information system and security audits on ICT infrastructure.
g. Assist in designing the Network Security Plan and Data Security Plan for ICT Office.
h. Assist in the formulation of policies, procedures and guidelines to implement CCRO’s Network Security Plan and Data Security Plan.

2. MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISION
a. Provides inputs to the office work plan, budget, procurement plans, and others, as required, to ensure availability and to manage resources of the office.
b. Supervises the work of staff and other staff assigned to projects managed by the division.
c. Coaches subordinates.  

3. OTHER DUTIES
a. Provides research input needed for effective participation in cybersecurity-related committees.
b. Performs other functions as may be assigned.

1. PLANNING AND INSTALLATION
a. Supervise computer operators in their job assignment to ensure the database are maintained
b. Engineering of Systems Administrator (SA) – related solutions for various project and operational needs
c. Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage,  etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements

g. Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks
h. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups and Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions

a. Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary

3. MAINTENANCE
a. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary b. Perform periodic performance reporting
c. Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required
d. Maintain secure data center environmental and monitoring equipment
